Multilanguage ?? 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi, just came across this and has saved me a lot of time. Great addon and worked like a charm taking data from J1.08 over to J1.13.

My only issue is language translations. Our site is in English and French and would like to see both the English and French content data. At this point it only seems to work on the default language and does not take into consideration translated data.

We are not moving ahead with J1.5 until in fully supports multilanguage and is out of the woodworks so to speak.

Would also be nice as an added touch along with data export that it could also take images in account and perform a complete data migration. As it stands, at least all text is moved over correctly so far from what I have seen. But multilanguage is a real concern and need.

Thanks in advance

I'm going to look into migration of translated data after the next releases of export content.

Due to file upload limits the migration of images as well as text data would cause to many problems as some shared hosting servers upload limit can be set as low as 2M which will allow for a fair amount of text but not the images as well.

That said we might be able to come up with a way to list all images and the paths that are needed for the content selected so it would be easy to find and move just the images that are required.
