You have sent me "Export Content" install I need the compiled content data that you download after compiling.

If the data has been installed on the destination site there should be an edit option under sections, categories, content items, and static items.

Just another thought have you got spaces in any image names on the source site?

Like "this is my image.gif" for example.

Export Content will attempt to change any "mosimage" tags to normal <img tags but will have problems if there are spaces in the image names.

I need the content that you have compiled from the source site.

When you select the data that you want to move and press "compile for 1.5+" icon.
Then you go to the download page where you are able to see the compiled data link, trouble shooting etc.

Check out the "screen shots" in the left menu of this site.
They are of an older version but will give you the idea.

There are also instruction on every page of export content via the left menu:
"This page help" link.

This page help says:

Step 1.
Use the "Download button" to Download the compiled data locally.

Step 2.
Head over to the destination site making sure the correct version of Export Content is set up.

Step 3.
Install the data on the destination site as you would any other component.

That doesnt tell me what you want. Can you just tell me what to click cause all i see is a download compiled content for Joomla 1.5 and that is what I sent you isnt it?

PS: i sent another file so hopefully that is what you are looking for.

No you sent me the "Export Content" component instead of the compiled data....

OK I just recieved the data and have installed it.

Everthing looks ok can you give me the name of an article that is chopped off and at what point.
Can you see the edit icon under "Insert Content Items" after you install the data.

You may be missing the second part of the content in the second edit box.

For example I can see this in the first box when I click to edit the article:
"Arenal Volcano continues" under view as html:

Intro text
Code:

<div class="mosimage" align="center"><img src="images/stories/crheadlines/arenal2.jpg" border="0" alt="Arenal Volcano" title="Arenal Volcano" hspace="6" width="408" height="150" /> <div class="mosimage&#717;caption" align="center" style="text-align: center">Arenal volcano eruption</div></div>The Arenal Volcano, one of Costa Rica's top tourist attractions, continued spewing incandescent materials last week. Days before it had sent ashes flying several kilometers around the La Fortuna area in northwestern Costa Rica. According to the Eliecer Duarte, of the National Vulcanology and Seismology Observatory (OVSICORI), the reason for the recent activity is simple: Arenal is having a growth spurt.
And this in the second one: Full text
Code:

<p>Even though it doesn't look it, Arenal is only 40 years old and it has just begun growing. Duarte said the volcano is in the stage of making for room for itself, growing vertically and also laterally, though the crater remains the same size. </p><p>{mos&#717;fb&#717;discuss:18} </p><blockquote><div><h4><em>Arenal is not having an eruption right now. There's no lava flowing, but stone avalanches coming down the sides. It's not necessary to issue an emergency at this point. The volcano is growing, and this activity is happening on its northeast side, away from the tourists,” Duarte explained. </em></h4></div></blockquote>
Is that the full text? When you transfer an article Export Content will combine the intro and full text into one to suit how joomla 1.5 works. One thing I did notice was the under scorces are not write in a few places.

That is what I get in the html source for that document after its imported in to the new site.

I wonder if your script is choking on the "discuss this article in the forums" link?

I had the same thought.
I have sent you a revised version of your content install.
I think it's choking on the underscores in the "mos_fb_discuss"
Uninstall the old one a install the one I sent you and see how it goes.

Something has come up and I have to go.
Please post and let me know how it goes.
I will be back later.

Ok that works for that "discuss this in the forums" part but I think what is happening is that the content is only importing the second part of the article and not the first part of the article. You said before it combines them for Joomla! 1.5 but this isnt combining them for me its just leaving out the first part of the article.
