Joomla 1.5.18

Error upon installation:


Fatal error: Class 'JInstallerComponent' not found in /homepages/29/d323144581/htdocs/qwert/ libraries/joomla/installer/adapters/ component.php on line 25

Manual install fails with this error:
Remote Server connection failed, failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found

What gives?

Hi Jonas,

Could you please double check you have the correct version of export content.

For Joomla 1.5+ series it should be version 2.0.0
Either way please download it again, just to make sure the zip file has not been corrupted.

Also have you tried to see if any other other extensions will install correctly?

One other thing you could do is try to install with and without the FTP layer activated to see if it makes a difference.
